Having grown up among the vines, he trained as a winemaker directly after leaving school. He studied in Geisenheim, gaining a degree in Oenology (Dipl. Ing. (FH)). As operations manager of the best winegrowers’ cooperative in Germany, he was honoured by Stern magazine and AWC Vienna. From international projects to typical local flavour profiles, he is the man to trust. Whether for quality improvements, work optimisation, interim solutions or evaluations of vineyard and cellar operations, his expertise has already won him numerous awards.
